Battle of the Borders is a food truck and live music based event coming to the Cincinnati, Ohio and Northern Kentucky area. The focus of this event is to bring together the top food trucks and musical talent that Ohio and Kentucky have to offer while engaging in a little friendly competition.

Admission
Battle of the Borders is a free admission event with the download of the FoodEaze® app! Once you set up your account, got to 'events' > 'Battle of the Borders' > select date of event > select 'buy tickets' and you will receive a QR code which will be scanned at the gate.
If you prefer to opt out of downloading the app, admission is $10 per person. Does not apply to children under the age of 13.
Food Truck Competition
The food truck competition will consist of 4 qualifying rounds and 1 final championship round. Each round will be held on various Saturdays from early June to early August. The judging will be held by the VIP-attendees, local food critics & bloggers, celebrity chef Walter Martino and a panel of judges. Winners will be selected for each of the 4 qualifying rounds and will meet up for the final championship round in order to crown the 2020 winner.
Live Music.
Local event producers Essential Productions, will be bringing the live music, staging and production for each of the battle rounds so you can enjoy your meals while listening to locally and nationally recognized musical talent. Essential Productions are best known for their local events 'Paradise Music & Beer Festival', 'Oktoberfest' and 'NYE in COV' but also host a variety of indoor concerts at venues across town, highlighting local level to Grammy Award winning talent.

Location
Goebel Park will be home to Battle of the Borders throughout the summer of 2020. Goebel Park is best known for it's German-style Carroll Chimes Clock Tower and offers picnic shelters, a gazebo, playground and much more. Goebel Park is conviniently located off 71/75 highway right on the border of Ohio and Kentucky, while still within the Cincinnati city limits. Goebel Park is also well known for being the home of Covington's famous Oktoberfest which was recently brought back in 2019 by our very own Essential Productions and local brewery, Braxton Brewing Company.
Beer & Spirits
Braxton Brewing Company will be providing a well balanced menu of beer and their ever expanding line of hard seltzers to compliment the variety of meals offered by the competing food trucks. Braxton Brewing Company is located right down the road in Covington, KY and home to some of the best beer and hard seltzers in town.
